Simultaneously, she completed graduate work in theater from both Lane Community College and University of Oregon and was active in LCC theater as playwright, actor, director and choreographer, as well as in annual musical productions within her spiritual community. Upon retiring she spent two years commuting to Unity Village in Missouri where she became an ordained Unity minister. She now lives in Eugene, Oregon. She loves theater, people, travel and life in general. Here are her thoughts about her book:

“Ever since I was a child writing has been a passion, though there was no thought of actually sharing beyond family and friends until one day when I was asked to write something of encouragement for our monthly church bulletin. That step began the more formal writing down of  thoughts, feelings, inspirations and stories from my life experiences that I had kept inside, or in journals over the years. Adding to that were inspirations from friends and their stories, and the special experience of a heart opening that led me to view all of life at more depth and with incredible awe.

To the writing that began to flow there was added the encouragement of my daughter and her beautiful photography, my son and his wisdom, there was added much encouragement from other people the community to put something together between the covers of a book. If what I share will be meaningful and bring new perspectives, or reassurances to others, along with adding a smile to someone’s day, that would bring me great joy.”
